Hidden Volcano Lava Tubes of Oahu

Adult $190
Child(5-13) $160

Absolutely the best experience on Oahu as you will tread where very few visitors go! What is a “Lava Tube?” It’s an empty underground tunnel where Molten Lava once flowed. We will take you through it ending up on the most amazing and pristine shoreline on the island. It’s not uncommon to see endangered Hawaiian Monk Seals and Green Sea Turtles basking in the sun. A blow hole shoots ocean water up in the sky with special Olive Green Lava in the backdrop! It’s just walking distance from the “From Here to Eternity Movie Beach,” one of the most picturesque beach coves in the world! We don’t overrun this special place so the tour is only offered on Thursday and Saturday. Because of high demand, early reservations are recommended for this once in a lifetime experience. You do need a car for the 20 minute drive from Honolulu, and comfortable walking shoes and clothes are a must. Don’t forget your beach clothes should you decide to swim in the amazing cove!

Lopaka Killed it! He was humble the whole time though he has all the reason not to be. Other companies offered $50 for a ride while he and his younger brother practically held our hands through the trail, took family photos for us, ensured our safety in the more dangerous areas, explained the history going back over a hundred years and a thousand years at one point!) When we got to the water falls I accidentally went where I wasn't supposed to (my family was not surprised) I was too in awe of our surroundings, yet he was super cool about letting me go to handle myself when I'm sure other would have been less than pleased. He was generous with his time & knowledge (which was vast to say the least) Ask him where he's going if a hurricane hits the island and why 😉 Are there other options? Sure. But why wouldn't you go with the best, you don't get to do this everyday (and for you it may be once in a lifetime) make it worth it. Book his tour, do it now! (Did I mention he's funny too. "Robert." His delivery killed me!)

Are you looking for a good family friendly HIKE (approx 1 mile) to see famous film sites (Jurassic, Hunger Games, more) while enjoying the scenic rainforest of Moana Falls! We arrived with the best tour-guide (Manu), knowledgeable, friendly, great sense of humor. Remember getting the best tour-guide makes a huge difference between an Awesome trip versus not so good trip.

My husband, my daughter and I took this tour with Manu two days ago and really enjoyed it. We made our way there and met Manu at the site. Manu has a deep knowledge of the local area as well as the history of Hawaii. He not only knew about the movie and TV series filmed there, but had actually been involved working on set. Manu led us on a hike up to the waterfall at the top, pointing out the various plants and the way these are used traditionally by the Hawaiian people. He talked us through the areas used in filming Godzilla, Kong, Lost, Jumanji, the Hunger Games and the recently filmed Aquaman movie - not yet released. We got in and stood under under the beautiful waterfall at the top, which was a refreshing way to finish off a great morning.

My family and I had our tour with Manu a few days ago and learnt so much about Hawai’in history and culture, as well as the natural features of the valley and mountain. We saw several hikers pass by monuments unknowingly, however we were informed by Manu of each area of interest, one even being a rock which had been carved thousands of years ago to function as a map. Manu is extremely humble but has a wealth of knowledge of the history, culture and flora of Oahu and the other Hawai’in islands, having specific knowledge of navigation, geology, geography and volcanology. If this wasn’t enough, Manu then brought out a sign with posters of movies which had been filmed there and took photos of our family for us with the sign. He pointed out where episodes of Hawaii 5.0 had been filmed, as well as scenes from The Hunger Games, and even Bruno Mars’ childhood home, which all were in areas skipped by several other tours and hikers. We had a fantastic experience and would recommend the tour and guide to anyone 🤙

We took the tour so that we can recommend it to our friends and visitors. Our guide was very knowledgeable in the Hawaiian Flora and Fauna and showed us all the movies sites that were used in the location. He took photos of us in the exact place used in the movies. At the end of the trail(which took 30min), we were treated to a beautiful 150’ waterfall and mountain pool which we all went in for a dip(it’s an option). Local style lunch was given to us and we ate it at the pools edge. I recommend this tour for all ages. It is a must do on the island of Oahu.

We took the moviesite tour on 04132022. Manu is the man when it comes to guiding. He’s very knowledgeable about the area, and he made the trip very enjoyable. He was very informative about island plants and agriculture. If you do happen to take a dip in the waterfall make sure to bring some aqua shoes as some of the rocks are very slippery and sharp.
